Cathy Doyle joins NobleOak as Chief People Officer to strengthen culture, capability and strategic growth

The seasoned HR and people experience leader brings decades of cross-industry expertise to support NobleOak’s next phase of organisational expansion across Australia.
NobleOak has named Cathy Doyle as its new Chief People Officer, adding one of Australia’s most widely respected HR and people experience leaders to its executive team as the company accelerates its national growth agenda.
Doyle steps into the role with an extensive track record across financial services, insurance, aviation, technology, and the social impact sector. Her mandate at NobleOak will centre on strengthening organisational capability, advancing people strategy, and shaping a workplace culture that supports sustainable business expansion.
Before joining NobleOak, Doyle served at Symbio, where she held dual senior roles as Chief Experience Officer (People, Brand, Customer & Communication) and Chief People Experience Officer. Over several years, she led multi-country teams, championing culture transformation, experience design, and strategic people leadership that improved engagement across key stakeholder groups.
Her earlier leadership journey includes influential appointments such as Chair & Consultant at Super Recruiters, Chief of Staff at ParaFlare, Group Executive CHRO and Corporate Affairs at Rabobank, Chief People Officer at McDonald's Australia, and senior people leadership roles at BNP Paribas, Qantas, NRMA, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She has also held governance and board positions with organisations such as the International Women’s Forum, Meals on Wheels Newcastle, Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation, Mason Stevens, and Odyssey House NSW.
NobleOak has been operating since 1877 and is regarded as one of Australia’s most reliable life insurers, with a long-standing reputation for trust, transparency and service quality. With Doyle coming onboard, the company is looking to strengthen its people systems, build a more consistent high-performance culture, and sharpen its organisational capabilities as it expands its insurance offerings nationwide.
