From marketing to people leadership: Anne Grønbjerg takes on CHRO role at Grundfos

CEO Poul Due Jensen praises her strong strategic qualities as Grønbjerg moves from a commercial leadership role to oversee the company's global human resources.
Grundfos has appointed Anne Grønbjerg as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, marking a shift for a leader who has spent much of her career moving between commercial and people-focused roles.
Grønbjerg, who joined the Danish pump manufacturer in 2016, has held a range of leadership positions across the business. She recently was VP for Solutions & Marketing in the Commercial Building Services division, supporting sectors such as hospitals and office complexes. Earlier in her career, she worked with Maersk Line, Danfoss and KPMG, gaining experience across HR, communications, sales and business development.
Taking on the CHRO position from September, she will also join the Grundfos Group Management team. CEO Poul Due Jensen said her appointment reflects both her strong grasp of the company’s culture and her ability to connect business priorities with people strategy.
For Grønbjerg, the move is both a responsibility and an opportunity. “A strong HR team is the backbone of any successful organisation where both the business and employees can thrive,” she said, adding that she looks forward to helping future-proof the organisation.
Her appointment comes at a time when Grundfos is strengthening its global presence while also advancing its sustainability commitments, including the construction of a new energy-efficient headquarters in Denmark.
