Humanforce names Aaron Thorne Chief Sales Officer to spearhead global growth

The Australian HCM solutions provider strengthens its executive team with Thorne’s appointment, aiming to deepen its footprint across frontline-heavy industries worldwide.
Humanforce, the Australian-founded human capital management (HCM) solutions provider, has appointed Aaron Thorne as its new Chief Sales Officer, a move designed to accelerate global expansion and strengthen ties with organisations in frontline-focused sectors.
Thorne, who steps into the role effective immediately, brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise sales and leadership across the Asia-Pacific region. He joins Humanforce after a long stint at UKG, where he most recently served as Managing Director for APAC. During his tenure, he was credited with scaling operations, building strategic partnerships and delivering workforce management solutions for complex, large-scale organisations.
Humanforce CEO Clayton Pyne said Thorne’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the company. “Aaron’s track record of supporting frontline workforces and leading high-performing sales teams makes him the ideal leader to drive our global commercial strategy. His insight will be invaluable as we continue to expand and deliver solutions that drive both business results and employee experience,” Pyne noted.
Thorne himself highlighted Humanforce’s unique positioning as the largest enterprise-grade HCM vendor in Australia with a focus on frontline workforces. “What excites me is Humanforce’s ability to unite workforce management, HR, payroll, talent, and benefits in a seamless platform. It’s not just about compliance and productivity; it’s about improving the lives of frontline workers while helping businesses stay competitive,” he said.
Founded in 2002, Humanforce today serves more than 2,300 customers, with nearly one million employees managed on its platform. With offices spanning Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Philippines and the US, the company is continuing its push to become a global leader in frontline workforce management.
